The gothic mystery story of Rebecca is a gift to the readers. The twist and revelations throughout the book is the way to keep a reader engaged to the story. The mysterious things that happens in the Manderley would remind you of Jane Eyre for a second though they are totally different stories. 2. Wuthering Heights

This book would highly do justice for thriller/mystery novels. The gothic novel was written by Emily Bronte and was published in 1847. The mystery and the happenings around Mr. Heathcliff is worth reading. Wuthering Heights is one of the novel which we would highly recommend.

3. The Secret of the Pembrooke Park

With a touch of Jane Austen’s era and the mystery which roams around the Pembrooke Park, The novel would be a worth read. The curious happenings in Abigail Froster’s life would keep you engaged to the book. The Secret of Pembrooke Park was published in 2014 by Julie Klassen and we highly recommend this book for both the classic and mystery novel admirers.

4. The Cuckoo’s Calling

The Cuckoo’s Calling was written by J. K. Rowling under the pen name Robert Galbraith. This is another book which attracted us so far. The book was published in 2013 and has a perfect storyline. The book would be admired by the Sherlock Holmes Fans and the mystery of the murderer stays all along till the end of the story.

5. Great Expectations

The classic novel written by Charles Dickens was published in 1861. Indeed it was filled with various mysteries which were popping out from each page. The mystery which revolves around Pip and Miss Havisham is totally a different kind of story which the readers would never have experienced before.
