A chocolate brownie with ice cream is a combination to be longed for. The chocolate flavour and the texture in it attracts everyone to the cake like dessert. It can also be topped with whipped cream and powdered sugar. Brownie falls into three varieties. Fudgy, cakey and chewy. The recipe given in the post below belongs to the cakey category. Though the maximum amount of youngsters or Adults prefer the fudge, you would not regret on trying this recipe. The moist, chocolatey brownie mixed with pieces of milk chocolate would be sure to entrance you.

Flour – 90g
Cocoa powder – 37g
Chocolate essence – 2tsp
Brown sugar – 195g
Eggs – 3
Milk chocolate – 100g
Dark chocolate – 240g
Double boil 250g of dark chocolate with butter.
Sieve flour and cocoa powder together.
Beat the eggs with the brown sugar. Pour 2tsp of chocolate essence, the double boiled chocolate and beat well. Add the sieved flour and cocoa powder mixture little by little to the batter and mix them well. Cut pieces of milk chocolate, mix them to the brownie batter and pour the batter to a mould or baking tray.
Heat the oven for 180 degree C for 20 minutes and bake the brownie for 30 to 35 minutes. Time varies for different ovens.
After 30 to 35 minutes, take the brownie out of the oven and serve it with ice cream.
